Explorer Circle Participation Terms

1. The Explorer Circle
The Impervia Explorer Circle is a voluntary fragrance community. Members may receive opportunities to evaluate Impervia fragrance samples and provide feedback. Individual opportunities are called “Explorer Missions.” Participation in any Explorer Mission is optional.
2. Eligibility
To participate in the Explorer Circle or any Explorer Mission, individuals must be at least 18 years old and must provide accurate contact information and fragrance‑profile details.
3. Limited Availability
Explorer Missions, spaces, and samples are limited and available only while supplies last. Joining the Explorer Circle does not guarantee participation in every mission or receipt of every sample.
4. Complimentary Samples
Explorer Circle samples are provided for personal evaluation only. Samples may not be resold, commercially distributed, relabeled, or represented as full‑size retail products. Some samples may be pre‑release or still under evaluation and may differ from any later retail version.
5. Voluntary Participation
Participation in the Explorer Circle is voluntary. Participants are not required to purchase any product, provide a positive review, publish social‑media content, or continue using a fragrance they do not enjoy.
6. Safe Use of Fragrance Samples
Fragrance products may cause irritation, sensitivity, allergic reactions, headaches, respiratory discomfort, or other adverse effects in some individuals. Participants should:
- Follow all label instructions and usage guidelines.
- Avoid contact with eyes and broken or irritated skin.
- Keep samples away from children, pets, open flames, sparks, and excessive heat.
- Discontinue use immediately if irritation or other adverse effects occur.
7. Reporting an Adverse Reaction
If an adverse reaction occurs, participants should discontinue use and contact Impervia as soon as possible.

When available, participants are encouraged to include:
- Their name and contact information
- Fragrance or sample name
- Batch, lot, or sample number
- Date of use
- How and where the product was applied
- Symptoms experienced
- When symptoms began
- Whether medical attention was obtained
- Whether symptoms improved after discontinuing use
- Any photographs or supporting information they voluntarily choose to provide
Impervia may retain and use this information for product‑safety monitoring, quality control, batch investigation, insurance, recordkeeping, and regulatory compliance.
8. Feedback
Participants should provide honest feedback. Feedback may be reviewed, analyzed, summarized, and used for fragrance development, product improvement, quality review, and business planning. Anonymous or aggregated feedback may be used without identifying the participant.
9. Public Reviews and Social Media
Participants are not required to publish public reviews or social‑media content. When publicly discussing a complimentary Impervia sample, participants should clearly disclose that it was provided free. For example:
“Sample provided complimentary by Impervia Fragrance.”
10. Photographs and Participant Content
Participants retain ownership of their original photographs, posts, reviews, and other content. Impervia must request and receive additional permission before using a participant’s name, recognizable image, social‑media handle, or identifiable testimonial in advertising or promotional materials.
11. Communications
By joining the Explorer Circle, participants permit Impervia to send communications needed to administer the program, including mission invitations, sample availability updates, shipping information, evaluation instructions, feedback requests, safety notices, and program changes. Enrollment in general promotional marketing communications remains separate and optional.
12. Privacy
Personal information will be handled according to the Impervia Privacy Policy. Information may be used to maintain Explorer Profiles, coordinate missions, communicate instructions, collect feedback, and investigate safety or quality concerns.
13. Removal From the Program
Impervia may suspend or discontinue a participant’s involvement in the Explorer Circle for reselling samples, providing false information, creating duplicate profiles, harassing others, misusing pre‑release information, failing to follow safety instructions, or otherwise violating these participation terms.
14. No Guarantee of Suitability
Fragrance preferences, sensitivities, skin chemistry, and product experiences vary by individual. Impervia does not guarantee that any fragrance or sample will be suitable for every participant.
15. Changes to These Terms
Impervia may update these Participation Terms as the Explorer Circle, safety procedures, business operations, or applicable requirements change. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this page will be revised when material changes are made.
